诺丁汉孔院赴Warren Primary Academy小学开展中国文化工作坊活动

    55日,诺丁汉孔子学院走进当地Warren Primary Academy小学, 开展中国文化工作坊活动。学校四年级的全体40多名师生在欢乐中体验了中国文化,感受了中国文化的独特魅力。

图一 获奖学生兴高采烈领奖品

    为期一天的文化工作坊中,孔子学院教师们为学生们带来了汉语体验课、书法、剪纸、画中国画、中国乐器、太极等活动,从多个角度展示了中国文化。孩子们学习到了简单的汉语表达,如“你好”、“谢谢”、数字一到十等。在剪纸环节,学生们兴致盎然,创造出中国灯笼和各式窗花;中国画作品也异彩纷呈,除了基本的熊猫,孩子们自己创作出兔子、猴子等各种图画。现场还评出了几名优胜者获得了中国特色小礼物,将活动带入了高潮。下午的乐器和太极环节,学生们感受了葫芦丝和笛子等中国乐器,学到了太极的基本招式。最后学生们一起用刚刚学到的“谢谢”向孔院教师表达谢意。

图二 学生在创作中国画

    此次活动受到了学校师生的热烈欢迎。学校负责人对此次活动给予了高度评价,期待日后有机会能与诺丁汉大学孔子学院继续联合开展此类的中国文化体验活动,以拓宽学生的文化视野,丰富学生的文化生活。本次中国文化工作坊让当地学生对中国文化有了一定的了解,激发了他们对汉语和中国文化的浓厚兴趣。诺丁汉孔子学院也将继续赴当地其他中小学开展中国文化传播活动,为诺丁汉当地汉语教学和文化传播贡献力量。





Nottingham Confucius Institute successfully carried out Chinese Culture Workshop in Warren Primary Academy



On 5th May, Chinese Culture Workshop was carried out in Warren Primary Academy by Nottingham Confucius Institute, which brought more than 40 teachers and students a chance to experience the joy of Chinese culture.



Teachers of Nottingham Confucius Institute took turns to show the Chinese culture to Class Four in the school. In Chinese language taster session, teacher taught the students simple Chinese dialogues, such as "hello", "thank you" and number one to ten. In addition, various Chinese culture experience activities were performed, that is, paper cutting and lantern-making activities, calligraphy, Chinese painting, Chinese musical instrumental taster and Taichi performance. Students were actively involved in all the activities and showed a keen interest in the Chinese culture. In paper cutting and Chinese painting session, best performers being voted by all students have got rewards – small Chinese gifts. When the workshop was finished, students said "thank you" in Chinese to Confucius Institute teachers to show their appreciation.



School officials spoke highly of the workshop and looked forward to having future opportunities to work with Nottingham Confucius Institute carrying out such Chinese cultural experience activities. This workshop enabled local students to have a certain understanding of Chinese Culture and stimulated their interest in Chinese language and Chinese culture. Nottingham Confucius Institute will continue to go to other local schools to carry out Chinese culture workshops and contribute to Nottingham local Chinese language teaching and cultural transmission.
