2015年5月18日，诺丁汉孔子学院应邀前往Our Lady’s天主教小学为其全校300余名师生开展中国文化体验活动。当天，是Our Lady’s天主教小学的多元文化体验日，在全校师生晨会上，叶李贝贝老师为大家带来了精彩的葫芦丝独奏《月光下的凤尾竹》，让现场的老师和孩子们听得如痴如醉。

除了介绍和表演中国音乐以外，殷琴超老师还为师生们带来了有趣的汉语体验课。从简单的“你好”、“谢谢”、“再见”到较为复杂的名字、年龄和国籍介绍，学生们昂着头，津津有味地地学习，不一会儿就能进行简单的对话了。

此次活动有助于孩子们更好地了解中国文化，培养其对中国文化的兴趣，也有助于其更好地理解世界文化的多元性和丰富性。活动受到了全校师生的热烈欢迎和一致好评，学校负责人表示期待日后能够有机会再次邀请诺丁汉孔院前往开展中国文化活动，以拓宽学生们的文化视野，丰富师生们的文化生活。

Nottingham Confucius Institute successfully carried out Chinese cultural activities in Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School

On 18th May,Nottingham Confucius Institute was invited to Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School and carried out a series of Chinese cultural activities for over 300 students and teachers. It was the school’s cultural diversity day, during the assembly in the morning, CI teacher Beibei Yeli performed Hulisi for the students and teachers, which received big claps.

Except the music performance, CI teachers also prepared Mandarin taster lessons for the students. Starting from the simple words, students learnt how to say hello, thank you and good bye in Chinese. They also learnt how to introduce their names, ages and nationalities. They showed great interest and enthusiasm in learning mandarin.

It is believed that these activities can help the students to know more about Chinese culture and are important for them to understand the cultural diversity. All the activities received warm welcome from the teachers and the students. They expressed their appreciation and hoped that Nottingham Confucius Institute would come back again in the future to introduce them more about Chinese culture.
