6月8日到9日，英国诺丁汉大学孔子学院应邀在Middleton 小学语言周开展了为期两天的汉语语言工作坊活动，共计100多名师生参与了此次活动。

此次工作坊内容丰富，从简单的“你好”、“谢谢”、“再见”到较为复杂的数字、颜色的识记，还有中国生肖文化知识的介绍和中国书法体验活动。孔院教师们通过直观的图片和视频生动形象地展示了汉语和中国文化，收到了学生们的欢迎和老师们的好评。两天的汉语工作坊，学生们一直兴致勃勃，对汉语和中国文化的学习充满了兴趣 。在中国书法的体验活动中，学生们都非常认真地学习毛笔的握法，并积极参与其中临摹样字，活动结束后还纷纷向周围的人展示自己的作品。

此次活动有助于孩子们更好地了解中国文化，培养其对中国文化的兴趣。学校负责人表示期待日后能够有机会再次邀请诺丁汉孔院前往开展中国文化活动，以拓宽学生们的文化视野，丰富师生们的文化生活。

Nottingham Confucius Institute successfully held a Chinese Language Taster Workshop in Middleton Primary School

Nottingham Confucius Institute went to Middleton Primary School and successfully held a Chinese Language Taster workshop from 8^th to 9^th June. The CI teachers showed the colourful Chinese language and culture to about 100 children and their teachers.

This workshop is well-designed and content-rich, from learning simple "hello", "thank you", "Goodbye" to memorizing the more complex numbers and colours, as well as gaining Chinese zodiac cultural knowledge and experiencing Chinese calligraphy. During the two days’ workshop, the children have showed great interest in learning Chinese language and culture.

It is believed that these activities can help the students to know more about Chinese culture. The teachers and the students expressed their appreciation and hoped that Nottingham Confucius Institute would come back again in the future to introduce them more about Chinese culture.
