为加强孔子学院奖学金生对当代中国的了解，帮助他们提前熟悉中国生活，6月30日诺丁汉大学孔子学院为孔子学院奖学金生举办了送行庆祝活动。孔子学院教师与孔子学院奖学金生聚集一堂，在愉快和谐的氛围里共进晚餐，畅谈即将开始的中国学习生活。

     中方院长孟金蓉博士首先代表诺丁汉孔子学院对孔子学院奖学金生及上海市政府奖学金生表示了热烈的祝贺和诚挚的欢迎，并对奖学金生到达中国之后的学习和生活提出了一些建议。随后，奖学金生们纷纷表达了他们对即将赴中国学习的兴奋和期待，并再三感谢汉办和孔院为他们提供的机会。最后，老师们解答了奖学金生在生活和学习各方面的一些问题。

     据悉，诺丁汉大学共有11名学生成功申请2015年度孔子学院奖学金及上海市政府奖学金，其中8人将分赴北京、上海、重庆、成都等多地高校深入学习和研究中国。这次孔子学院奖学金生庆祝活动让学生们提前了解和熟悉了中国生活，并对当代中国有了更深的认识。学生们纷纷表示这样的活动非常有意义，让他们更加热爱中国文化，也帮助他们更快融入中国的留学生活，并希望以后能举办更多这样的活动。

Nottingham Confucius Institute held the celebrations for Confucius Institute Scholarship winners

        On June 30th Nottingham Confucius Institute held a celebration for Confucius Institute Scholarship students to help them strengthen the understanding of contemporary China helping and get familiar with the upcoming life in China. Confucius Institute Confucius Institute Scholarship students had dinner with teachers of Nottingham Confucius Institute in a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere.

       Dr Jinrong Meng, Chinese Director of Nottingham Confucius Institute expressed warm congratulations and sincere welcome to Confucius Institute Scholarship students and Shanghai Government Scholarship students, and gave some suggestions of their upcoming life in China. The scholarship students expressed their excitement and expectation of studying in China, and showed their appreciation to Hanban and Confucius Institute for the opportunities provided to them. Finally, the teachers answered some questions by scholarship students in all aspects of life and learning.

        There are 11 students who have successfully applied for Confucius Institute Scholarship and Shanghai Government Scholarship. 8 of them will go to universities in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu and other cities to study and research on Chinese. The celebration helped Confucius Institute Scholarship students to know Chinese life in advance and have a deeper understanding of contemporary China. The students have said that such an event is very meaningful which not only make them love Chinese culture more, but also help them integrate more into the upcoming life in china.
