2015年10月17日，受UK汉办的邀请，诺丁汉孔院代表团在中方院长孟金蓉博士的带领下，参加了英国语言展。诺丁汉孔院代表团中还有诺丁汉大学汉语教师Lan Lo博士，诺丁汉孔院公派教师吴爱玉老师，及孔子学院汉语教师志愿者刘晓丹，李冉和黄冰三位老师。诺丁汉孔院代表团带来了汉语体验课，太极拳表演，书法，剪纸和中国结等中华文化工作坊，她们的表现得到了主办方及现场观众的热烈欢迎和一致好评。

   英国语言展为大家提供了丰富多样的文化体验活动，中国国家汉办设置的展台展示了精彩纷呈的精品汉语教材和文化读物，搭建了一个让来自世界各地的游客体验中华文化的优秀平台。参展期间，Lan Lo博士带来的汉语体验课，小小的会场挤满了前来听课的观众。从日常用语到汉字书写，短短25分钟内就让观众体验到汉语言的魅力。

   在中心舞台的表演中，孔院汉语教师志愿者黄冰老师和Lan Lo博士共同表演了一套二十四式太极拳，并在演出结束后邀请观众上台互动，教观众朋友们正确的马步姿势，体验太极拳文化。展台上，吴爱玉，刘晓丹和李冉三位老师身着旗袍，黄冰老师身着汉服，介绍着准备好的各种精美的剪纸，书法和中国结工艺品，并耐心地教有兴趣的观众如何制作，得到了观众朋友的热烈欢迎。

   诺丁汉孔院为英国语言展增添了精彩的中国文化元素，也让世界的朋友了解中国，体验中国文化，成为中国的好朋友。

Nottingham Confucius Institute participates in London Language Show 2015

Language Show Live 2015 was held at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London on 17th October. Exhibitors around the world came together and served language lovers a feast of language.

With the lead of Jinrong Meng, the deputy director of NCI, Wu Aiyu, mandarin language teacher of NCI; Dr Lan Lo, mandarin teacher of Nottingham University; Liu Xiaodan, Li Ran and Huang Bing, volunteer mandarin teachers of NCI attended the event and brought vivid and exciting Chinese cultural shows and performances for visitors. They hold taster mandarin classes to make people enjoy learning mandarin and there are a lot of attendances. It’s only 25 minutes but Dr Lan Lo had already made people learn how to do some daily dialogs and how to write characters. And then, In the centre stage performance, Huang Bing and Dr Lan Lo gave the audience a vivid Taiji show and pushed the atmosphere to a climax. After the show they also asked people who are interested in Taiji to have a try and taught them patiently. On the side of booth, Wu Aiyu, Liu Xiaodan and Li Ran showed audience exquisite paper-cut art and interacted with fans and taught people to make paper-cut works such as bowknots and snowflakes by themselves, and also they show them how to make Chinese knots and so on.

Nottingham Confucius Institute took an active part in London Language Show and offered a fantastic show for visitors. Their excellent performance attracted hundreds of visitors, who enjoyed this pleasant and relaxing Chinese culture experience event and who were delighted at the opportunity to find out more about Chinese language and culture.
