第七届“中国和我”汉语演讲比赛于2015年11月11日下午在诺丁汉大学思源中心A18会议室成功举办。来自英国、意大利、比利时、罗马尼亚等不同国家及文化背景的十九位选手共聚一堂，带来了一场汉语言的饕餮盛宴。孔子学院举办”中国和我”演讲比赛由来已久，至今已发展成为在当地汉语学习者中极具影响力的汉语学习平台。本届比赛更是吸引了来自五湖四海的选手，他们用精彩的演讲打动了在座的每一位评委和听众，在分享他们的中国故事的同时，也展示了他们的汉语水平以及对中国当前经济、文化各方面的独到见解。

    孔子学院英方执行院长陈建教授为此次比赛致开幕词，感谢选手们的积极参与，希望大家好好享受比赛。本次比赛共分为两组：初级组和高级组。当你听到初级组选手脱稿演讲时，你很难想象到他们才学了短短两个月汉语。对于高级组选手来说，则更是高手过招、各显神通。最终，经过评审团的认真打分和评议，初级组的Abby Watt凭借其流利的汉语表达，高级组的Dominik Helmschrot凭借口齿伶俐的表达和清晰的逻辑分别摘得桂冠。

    连续几日的阴雨绵绵终于在今日放晴，像是在为选手们加油助威，在比赛间隙，孔子学院还为大家奉上了精彩的葫芦丝、中文古典舞蹈以及太极拳等中国文化表演。最后，诺丁汉大学当代中国学学院教学副院长Sarah Dauncey教授协众评委致闭幕词，为本次比赛画上了圆满的句号。Sarah Dauncey教授对本届比赛大加赞赏，称：”这是我参加过的最棒的一次中文演讲比赛!“

The 7th “China and Me” Speech Competition Held by Nottingham Confucius Institute

The 7th “China and Me” Mandarin Speech Competition was held on 11th November  2015 at A18 Gallery in Si Yuan Centre, Jubilee Campus, the University of Nottingham. 18 students from different social and cultural backgrounds enjoyed a fascinating opportunity to share their unforgettable stories in China and demonstrate their Chinese proficiency and understanding of Chinese Culture.

Dr Chen Jian, the Acting Director of Nottingham Confucius Institute, delivered an opening speech at the event. He appreciated all the participation and hoped that everyone could enjoy this event. The contestants were divided into two panels, the beginner panel and the advanced panel. Abby Watt, the competitor of beginner panel and Dominik Helmschrot, the competitor of advanced panel won the first prizes by their accurate pronunciation, authentic vocabulary, humorous presentation and excellent answers.

During the short interval between two panels, several cultural performances were provided by Confucius Institute, including Hulusi, Chinese classical dance and Tai Chi demonstration. At the end, Prof Sarah Dauncey, the Director of teaching from School of Contemporary Chinese Studies, and other judges delivered closing speeches and concluded this competition in a warm applause.
