12月8日中午，诺丁汉孔子学院当地中小学年会在思源中心举行，参与的有来自诺丁汉政府教育处的官员代表，来自当地中小学的校长和代表老师，以及孔子学院的老师等共20人。

    会议开始前，嘉宾在孔院工作人员的带领下参观了图书馆和办公室等工作场所。孔子课堂副经理叶李贝贝主持了会议，并向在场与会人员转达了诺丁汉孔子学院获得“示范孔子学院”的喜讯。首先，由孔院副经理吴爱玉对诺丁汉孔子学院的各项业务进行详细介绍，包括汉语教学，汉语考试和比赛，语言和文化项目，以及其他特色创新性项目等。然后，由The White Hills Park Federation的执行副校长Karsten Stephan介绍Alderman White School与孔子学院的合作历程，以及孔子课堂设立在Alderman White之后的现状，分享了很多有用的经验。最后，由叶李贝贝介绍孔子学院可以给当地中小学提供的各类语言及文化活动帮助，以及教学点和孔子课堂的申办条件等，参会学校代表对此非常感兴趣，纷纷记录笔记。介绍结束后，孔子学院将具有中国传统特色的新年挂历送给与会人员，大家一起享用中餐，体验饺子、春卷等中国传统美食。

    短短2小时的会议，使得参会人员更加深入地了解了孔子学院的日常业务和特色项目，也加强了孔院与当地中小学的联系。接下来的一年，孔院将更加深入到当地中小学开展各色中国特色的活动。

Nottingham Confucius Institute 2015 Annual Lunch for Local Schools

Nottingham Confucius Institute hold the 2015 Annual Lunch for Local Schools on 8^th Dec at Si Yuan Centre, Jubilee Campus. Head-teachers from local schools, representatives from Nottingham City Council and teachers from NCI took part in the event.

During the tea and coffee time, NCI staff showed the representatives around the Si Yuan Centre to see the NCI work environment. Beibei Yeli, deputy manager for Confucius Classroom hosted the speech and shared the good news of NCI been awarded the “Model Confucius Institute”. Firstly, Aiyu Wu, the deputy manager of NCI introduced all the projects NCI is carrying on, including mandarin teaching, Chinese Proficiency Test, Language and Culture activities and new centres such as Teacher Training Centre, etc. Secondly, Mr Karsten Stephan, the Head of Alderman White School introduced the cultural communication between UK and China, the setting up experience of a Confucius Classroom and the benefit student can get from a Confucius Classroom. Lastly, Beibei Yeli introduced the work plan for 2016 which includes festival workshops, one-off activities, setting up teaching hubs and providing regular lessons, and setting up more Confucius Classrooms. The representatives are very interested in the future plan and make a lot of records. After the speeches, NCI gave the representatives Chinese style calendars as a gift. The Chinese lunch buffet was provided to them to experience the traditional Chinese food.

During the event, the representatives know more about Nottingham Confucius Institute. They all expressed great interest in the future activities. NCI will provide more in the next year to benefit local students as well as strengthen the connection between UK and China.
