　　2011年1月22日是星期日、也是中国龙年除夕，位于诺丁汉大学主校区的诺大艺术中心人来人往、十分热闹。诺丁汉孔子学院为诺大师生及当地居民提供了“合家欢乐庆除夕”教学与展示活动，向参与者展示了中国剪纸、书法、茶道及太极浅尝等项目，吸引了四百多人的参与和学习。许多人都是全家出动，兴致勃勃地学习打太极、学剪纸、品茶、了解中国书法，表达出对神秘的中国文化的浓厚兴趣。本应于下午三点结束，结果到了四点在工作人员的劝阻下，活动才结束。

活动之后，孔院全体人员在中方院长唐荣杰的住处吃年夜饭，一起渡过了一个忙碌、热闹的除夕。

Reports of 2012 Chinese New Year celebrations----No.2

Nottingham Confucius Institute presented a Family Workshops Afternoon on 22nd January 2012, the eve of Chinese New Year, as part of the Chinese New Year Celebrations to meet the Year of Dragon. The workshops included Chinese Paper-cutting, calligraphy, Chinese Tea Ceremony and Taiji taster cession, attracting over 4 hundred people to the site, many were families. Visitors took part in the activities offered by NCI with great enthusiasm, and expressed their strong interest in the mysterious Chinese cultures. The workshops were scheduled to be over at 3pm. But in fact, it was not until 4pm that the workshops were over.

All of the CI staff gathered at Rongjie Tang’s residence to for a Chinese New Year Eve dinner to celebrate the busy but meaningful day.
